Wash the black lentil and Rajma thoroughly with water and pressure cook it on a medium flame for about half an hour.

In a pan add 2 tbsp of ghee, when it gets heated up add the whole jeera. When the jeera starts spluttering add ginger garlic paste and the chopped onions and cook it for a while till the raw smell of ginger-garlic goes away. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for about a minute.

Now to it add the boiled dal and mix well. And let it simmer on a slow flame for about 5 minutes.

To it now add jeera powder, garam masala, and dhaniya powder. Mix well.

Take a shonk pan, add 2 tbsp butter let it melt, and add a little red chili powder to it. Don't heat the butter, you have to just melt it. Add this to the dal.

Now add fresh cream mix it with light hands. Switch off the gas. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
