My great-grandmother's recipe.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice (about 200 grams)
  2. evaporated milk
  3. sweetened condensed milk
  4. prunes or raisins, to taste
  5. ground cinnamon (or 2 cinnamon sticks)

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse the rice and let it dry.

    Bring water to a boil. Once boiling, add the rice and cinnamon.

    Stir the rice occasionally to prevent sticking, until most of the water is absorbed.

    When the rice is almost dry, add the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and prunes or raisins. Let it simmer.

    The arroz con leche is ready when it starts to thicken.
