Ingredients

30 minutes
3-5 servings
  • 500 gm CHOPPED KACHHA AAVLA-
  • 2 tbsp TURMERIC POWDER
  • as per tasteCHILLI POWDER
  • 50 gm MUSTARD SEED POWDER
  • 20 gm JEERA POWDER
  • 20 gm FENUGREEK SEEDS ROASTED POWDER
  • 5 gm HING
  • as per tasteSALT
  • 6-7 tbsp LEMON JUICE
  • 30 gms TEMPERED (JEERA, MUSTARD SEEDS)

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a glass bowl and add chopped gooseberry pieces and, mix with Turmeric powder & Salt and leave at least 12-14 hours... Do not add water

  2. 2

    Between once every 6 hours mix well from all the sides as it's already mixed with salt, it's melts well salty..

  3. 3

    After 14 hours again mix with other ingredients like Chilli powder, Mustard powder, Jeera powder, Roasted Mustard seeds powder, hing, lemon juice, again leave at least 2-4 hours.

  4. 4

    After 18 th hour mix well from all the sides and if salt needed then you can add some more salt and mix well add tempered jeera, mustard seeds..

  5. 5

    Hot and spicy Gooseberry pickle ready to serve..

  6. 6

    Useful for health contains direct vitamin C... and immunity booster..
