Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 1/2~ 4 rice cooker cups Rice
  • 1amount needed for making rice Water
  • 1to 2 Salted plum
  • Ingredients for 4 big rice balls
  • 1start with1 1/2 rice cooker cups of rice Rice cooked with umeboshi
  • 2leaves Shiso leaves (stems removed and finely cut)
  • 1 tbspToasted sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 tbspChirimen jako (semi-dried salted tiny sardines)

Steps

  1. 1

    Mince the umeboshi Leave the pits. Cook rice like you normally do, but with the umeboshi.

    When the rice is cooked, remove the pits, and mix.

    For rice balls, mix the ingredients marked with and shape. Done.
