Steps

Soak the Walnuts in 1/2 litre milk for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes add soaked Walnuts and 1 tbsp of Milk into the mixer and grind it into coarse paste.Keep the remaining Milk.

In a pan add ghee and let it melt,add Walnuts paste and mix well.

Stir the mixture continuously and roast the mixture on low flame for 8-10 minutes or till turn golden brown.

Now pour remaining milk into the pan and mix it.

Stir the mixture continuously and cook till it gets thick in consistency. You will see the walnut paste sticking in the pan from the corners and leaving fragrance.

Now add 1/2 cup sugar and cardamom powder and mix well. keeping the flame on low, stir well till the sugar dissolves.the mixture is combined well. Cook well till the walnut halwa separates from pan.

Walnut Halwa is ready. take out in a serving dish. Serve hot or cold.it's delicious.

Garnish with walnuts & serve.
