Kidney Beans in Gravy (without Onion and Garlic)

Wash the kidny beans nicely then take a bowl add both kidney beans and 2 glass of water mix and soaked for overnight or 6-8 hours.

Take pressure cooker placed soaked kidney beans along with water in it now mix 1 cup of water more.

Cover the lid on high flame let it whistle 1 time then cook for 10 minutes on simmer. Switch off the flame.

Cooker's pressure is released remove the lid and boiled kidney beans transfer into a bowl

On medium flame heat desi ghee in a wok. Add bay leaf, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon and black cardamom saute and its crackle add green chilli & ginger paste saute for 30 seconds.

Now combine tomato puree saute and mix salt, coriander powder, sugar and red chilli powder one by one. Mix well.

Stir continuously until the mositure evaporates and it turns into mushy form.Now mix boiled Rajma and 1 cup of water. Mix well.

When Kidney beans gravy comes to one boil stir occasionally and cook on simmer for five minutes. Now add garammasala. Mix well and switch off the flame. Rajma is ready to serve.

Transfer into serving plate/bowl. Serve with rice,chapati, ginger-chilli pickle, salad & chutney. Enjoy !!
