My husband created this recipe because I brought back green onions from my parents' vegetable garden.

Stir-Fry with Garlic Soy Sauce Made by a Green Onion Lover

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 bunchGreen onions (thick ones)
  2. 6Chicken tenders (or chicken breast meat)
  3. 1 tbspButter
  4. 1 1/2 tbspGarlic soy sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Chop the green onions into 5 cm lengths.

    Take the sinews of the chicken tenders, and cut into 3 pieces.

  3. 3

    Place the butter in a frying pan, and add the chicken tenders. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, and stir-fry for 4 ~ 5 minutes over medium heat.

    When the chicken is almost cooked through, add the green onions, and continue stir-frying.

  5. 5

    When the green onions are soft and tender, drizzle in the garlic soy sauce down the sides of the pan, and stir quickly.

    If you marinate sliced garlic with plenty of dark soy sauce, and keep the sauce in a clean and dry bottle, you can use it in many dishes, and it'll come in handy.
