Ingredients

  1. 400 gramsBeef
  2. 40 gramsSofrito (vegetable based)
  3. 6 gramsSalt
  4. 40 gramsPanko
  5. 1Egg
  6. 2 gramsDried oregano
  7. 1Black pepper
  8. 70 gramsRed wine
  9. 30 gramsParmesan cheese
  10. 1Plain flour
  11. 1Vegetable oil
  12. 400 gramsCanned tomatoes

Cooking Instructions

    Add the sofrito to the beef and combine.

  2. 2

    Add the rest of the ingredients except the flour, vegetable oil, and tomato, to the meat and mix together.

    Once mixed, cook a tiny amount to taste.

  4. 4

    Roll into balls.

  5. 5

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides as much as possible.

    Transfer to a pot. Add the crushed canned tomatoes and slowly simmer to finish.
