Chunky Olive Oil

This recipe is from the radio show "Sunday's Brunch - Nanae's Cookbook Corner."
I hopped on the bandwagon and made some edible olive oil! Since the oil doesn't get cooked, use fresh high quality olive oil. After about 1 week, the flavors will have blended together and it will become even more delicious. Recipe by nanacode

Steps
- 1
Mince the onion and the garlic.
- 2
Spread Step 1 on a sheet of parchment paper and roast in the oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutes. (It's okay if not every piece browns.)
- 3
Place Step 2 and the ● ingredients into a glass jar and mix well. (If you like spiciness, add 2 teaspoons of shichimi spice)
- 4
Pour olive oil into the jar from Step 3 until filled to the top and it's done!
- 5
You can spread it on bread, use as a salad dressing, use it to marinate fish or meat, etc. It can be used for almost anything you want.
- 6
Any herb is fine but I usually use rosemary!
