Patra, is most easy dish and recipe is so popular😋😋it’s my hubby favourite dish 🍀❤️🍀

It must be because it combines those rare qualities of flavour and good health! 👍💪🏻💪🏻

colcocasia leaves are very nutritious as well as tasty, especially if made into patra – 🍀🍀🍀🍀

A smooth paste of besan with spicy, sweet and sour flavours is applied over the leaves, rolled and steamed. 👍👍

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 300 gmsbesan
  • 200 gmspatra leaves
  • 3-4 tbspSalt sugar
  • 1 tspGaram masala
  • 3 tspGinger garlic chilli
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsbHaldi
  • 4 tablespoonsLemon juice
  • 1 tsbEno
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon hing

    Wash and clean all leaves. Make a paste of besan to apply on the leaves.

    Mix all ingredients together and add water 1/2 cup to make a thick paste. Now apply the paste on leaves and roll them.

    Now arrange all the rolls in a steamer and steam them for half an hour.

    Let them cool down and then cut.

    Your patra is ready to serve.

    Now add Tadka on it. Heat the oil add rai hing and sesame seeds in oil and spread on patra.
