Slice the konnyaku into 5 mm long pieces. Make a cut in the center of each piece. Take one end of the konnyaku and pull it through the hole in the center to give it a twisted look.

Boil the twisted konnyaku well.

[ Teriyaki Konnyaku Seasoning Sauce: ] Put the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and the cooked konnyaku into a plastic bag and mix well.

Spread the vegetable oil in a heated frying pan, and add the mixed ingredients from Step 3. Stir-fry over high heat for 5 minutes, simmer to reduce, and it's done.
