Lotus root is rich in glycoprotein, mucin and fibre. Mucin protects the stomach walls, and helps protein and fat digestion. The combination of Asian pear and Chinese wolfberry is good for you if you have the coughs, and it also has skin moisturising properties. Recipe by Akyuraizu biyouhin

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 300 gramsLotus root
  2. 500 gramsAsian pear
  3. 1Chinese wolfberries
  4. 1Yoghurt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel the lotus root and chop into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Peel the pear, remove the stem and chop into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Blend the lotus root, pear and yoghurt in a mixer.

  4. 4

    Pour it into cups, add some Chinese wolfberries for decoration, and it's done.
