Ingredients

  1. 1 cupinstant oats
  2. 3/4 cupwater
  3. 1/4 cupchopped carrot
  4. 1/4 cupgreen peas
  5. 1onion chopped
  6. 1tomato chopped
  7. 1/2 tspminced garlic
  8. 1 tspgrated ginger
  9. 1green chili, chopped
  10. 2 Tbspchopped green coriander
  11. 1/4 cupcooked beans and potato
  12. 1/3 tspchili powder
  13. 1/2 tsppav-bhaji masala
  14. 1/3 tspchaat masala
  15. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  16. 1 pinchhing powder
  17. as per tasteSalt
  18. 2 tspmelted butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry roast oats till reach brown colour with an aroma.

    Heat butter. Add cumin seeds and allow to splutter. Add hing also.

    Fry the onions till translucent. Add chopped chili, garlic and ginger and saute till end of raw smell.

    Add the chopped veggies and when they are done, mix cooked beans. Mix well.

    Add chili powder, chopped tomatoes and salt.

    Add pav-bhaji masala and chaat masala. Cook till tomatoes are soft. Add water and allow to boil.

    Add roasted oats and stir well till the water is absorbed. Serve hot with green chutney.
