Steps

Soak jowar overnight.
Remove water from it.
Add 4 cups water to cooker. Add soaked jowar and salt to it. Pressure cook for 8 to 10 whistles. - 2
In pan add one 2 tsp oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds to it. Let it spulter then add chopped onion. Stir till it becomes translucent.

Add asafoetida, chopped carrots. Let it cook for a minute then add finely chopped green chillies, chopped tomatoes, green peas and salt. Stir it well and cover the pan till tomatoes become little mushy.

Add turmeric powder, pavbhaji masala and cooked jowar. Mix it well. Cover the lid and cook it for 5 minutes. Garnish with finely chopped fresh coriander and lemon. Serve it hot.
Pavbhaji masala gives very nice taste and flavour to this recipe.
