Nawabi paneer is rich paneer curry recipe from hydrabadi cuisine. Paneer pieces cooked in rich creamy gravy and flavoured with kewda and saffron.
Steps

In a wok or pan heat 1 tsp oil and add onion, garlic, ginger, 1 cardamom, cashew, almond and fry for 1-2 minutes.

Cool and blend to smooth paste adding water as needed.

Heat oil in pan and fry paneer pieces.

Heat butter and add cinnamon, cardamom, clove and sauté until spices turn aromatic.

Now add prepared onion cashew paste and mix well.

Cook on medium flame, until the raw flavour disappears and then add curd and stir continuously.

Add cream, milk and salt.

Now add turmeric and chilli powder and mix well.

Now add fried paneer, kewra water and mix well.

In last add kasuri methi and mix well.

Just before serving nawabi paneer, top with a tsp of saffron milk.
