This wonderful dessert made with ladyfingers, mascarpone cream, and strawberries is incredibly creamy! It's perfect as a dessert after lunch or dinner.

First, make the cream. Soak the gelatin in water for 10 minutes. Heat the water with the sugar to 250°F (121°C).

Meanwhile, lightly beat the egg yolks with the vanilla. When the syrup is ready, remove from heat and add the gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour the syrup into the beaten egg yolks, mixing until the mixture cools. Finally, fold in the mascarpone and whipped cream.

Place a 9 1/2-inch (24 cm) cake ring on a serving plate. Dip the ladyfingers in milk, then arrange them in a circle. Add a layer of cream, then a layer of strawberries cut into small cubes. Add another layer of ladyfingers, and repeat. (You should have 3 layers of ladyfingers, 3 layers of cream, and 2 layers of strawberries.)

Refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight.
