Oven-Baked Duck Confit with Roasted Garlic, Onion, and Parsley
Cooking Instructions

Peel the garlic cloves and crush them. Peel and thinly slice the onion. Melt the duck fat in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and roast until fragrant.

Add the duck legs, skin side down, on top of the onions. Sear for 5 minutes until browned, then flip them over. Reduce to medium heat. Preheat the oven to 410°F (210°C). Season with pepper and salt.

Chop the parsley.

Sprinkle the parsley over the duck. Cover the Dutch oven and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove the lid, set the oven to broil, and broil for 5 minutes. It's ready! Serve immediately and enjoy.
