Steps

First of all we will make dough by adding maida,ghee,salt mix well then add water as per need to make little stiff dough, cover with damp cloth and leave to rest for 20 minutes.

Now will make filling, in a pan add mawa roast it little,don’t let it to change its colour, add coarsely grounded almonds,cashew,clove,cardamom and sugar mix it well for 2 minutes and remove from heat.

Now make small balls from dough and roll it into a thick round shape, place the spoon full of filling in between the rolled dough,grease round edge from water, cover the filling from both side,press gently to seal the edge,flip whole material and with the help of finger tuck one on one and secure from clove.

Then will make sugar syrup by adding sugar,water and cardamom and some thread of saffron till consistency like honey.

We will fry laung lata in oil on medium heat and then transfer it to sugar syrup for 3-4 minutes only.

Our delicious laung lata is ready to enjoy.
