Easter is around the corner. Make some hot cross buns for kids and family. Yum. 😋

Add yeast into the warm milk and mix them well. Leave it aside for 5 minutes.

Get a big bowl and put in all the dried ingredients (apart from dried fruits and cranberries). And then add in egg, double cream and yeast milk (from step 1) to form a dough. Keep kneading until you can do the window pane test. Rest the dough for 60 minutes.

Take the dough out and flat it. Add in the dried fruits and cranberries.

Divide the dough into 9 small balls. Place in a butter-greased baking tin to do the final proofing (about 90 minutes). Mix all the ingredients for cross decoration and place it in a piping bag. Brush some milk on the dough and then piping the cross. Bake in 170°C oven for 17-20 minutes. Move those hot cross buns on a rack for cooling. Enjoy!! 😋
