Ingredients

6 servings
  • 3 cupsdry pinto beans
  • 8 cupswater
  • 5 teaspoonssalt
  • 2 teaspoonspepper
  • 1 teaspoonminced garlic
  • 1whole onion peeled
  • 1-3chopped jalapeños-seeds removed
  • 3/4 cupsshredded Mexican cheese

Steps

8 hours
  1. 1

    Add the first 7 ingredients into a crockpot.

  2. 2

    Cook on high for 8 hours

  3. 3

    Remove onion and excess water

  4. 4

    Add cheese and use hand mixer combine all ingredients to desired consistency.
