Fish patty

If you are using frozen pollock fish, squeeze the fish pieces between your palms to take out all the water.

Now place a cling film or a plastic sheet and place all pieces one by one. Cover with another sheet and press /pound the pieces to flatten them. Alternately, you can blend the fish pieces in a blender to get paste like texture.

Prepare the masala by grinding together garlic, ginger, chillies, coriander,lemon juice,salt and turmeric powder.

Mix this masala with the fish and make small balls. Flatten them between your palms and coat them in rice flour.

Heat oil in a pan and place the fish tikkis and fry from both the sides till golden brown.

Stuff these patties between burger buns to make fish burger or enjoy as it is with mint chutney.
