Heat a pan and add jagerry, when jagerry starts melting add the grated coconut and stir fry it with jagerry.

Add 1 tsp black pepper powder, cardamom powder and grated ginger and mix it well.

When the mixture begins to dry keep it aside and move forward to next step.

Heat a pan, add 1 cup of water,salt and rice flour. Mix these ingredients well or until it makes a soft dough and keep it aside for cool down.

When the mixture comes to its room temperature knead the dough well with your hands for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now we'll arrange the dumplings. Divide the dough into 10 to 12 pieces in the same shapes.

Take one piece of the dough and flat it with the help of your hand. Stuff the coconut mixture into the dough and cover it and give it a round shape. Just like I showed in the picture.

Steam the dumplings in a Steamer for 5 to 6 minutes.

Your manda pitha is ready. Serve it hot as well as cold.
