In a mixer jar, add coconut, roasted chana dal, green chillies, garlic gloves, ginger and salt

Grind it into a fine paste. Adjust the consistency by adding required water.

In a small pan, add 1 tsp oil, add mustard, red chilli, curry leaves and hing. Allow the mustard to splutter. Add it to the chutney. Serve with dosai or idli
