  • 300 gCarrot
  • 2 piecePotato
  • 250 gLeek
  • 260 gFried tofu (puff tofu)
  • 300 groasted meat or canned pork
  • Corn starch water (approx 2 tablespoon starch)
  • 5 tablespoonSukiyaki sauce

    Cut peeled carrot into bite size

    Cut peeled potatoes into bite size

    Remove the top leafy portion of the leek, remove the roots, cut the middle stem diagonally into bite size.

    Cut the fried tofu into bite size. Rinse a few times to reduce the grease.

    Prepare starch water. Dissolve two tablespoons of corn starch with approximately 10 tablespoons of tap water.

    Use a big pot, fill it with water not more than 3/4. Boil the water.

    Add the carrot, potato, leek, fried tofu, roasted meat or pork cubes. Boil for 30 minutes.

    Add five tablespoons of sukiyaki sauce (to taste). Stir the pot well. Add the starch water slowly. Turn the heat to low to simmer slowly for 15 minutes.

    Serve it on a bowl of steamed rice.

Love to cook and experiment with new cooking methods in addition to traditional stir fry recipes. Living in Singapore, a fantastic place to eat and experience (almost) every kind of cuisine in the world. There are 5 hawker center within my current neighborhood, I would go there for quick meal if I lazy to cook.
