Rich & Super-Tasty Tomato Carbonara

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

I subtly altered your everyday tomato sauce into something a bit richer Your stomach will thank me.
This sauce doesn't contain butter or cream so it also holds back on the calories while having a simple yet rich flavor.

[1] If you're just preparing for one, you should have enough room to cook the pasta in the wok as well, so you could just work in on epan.
[3] Cook the pasta but take it off the heat just before it becomes al dente. It will heat again once covered in the sauce.
[4] When adding the sauce and ingredients to the pasta, mix them in quickly and strongly to get a creamy finish. Recipe by bunny fish

Steps

  1. 1

Boil the pasta in plenty of water. Salt the water heavily to the point that it's overly salty that you almost can't drink it as is.

  2. 2

Add olive oil to a frying pan and fry the bacon. Pour in the tomato sauce and bring to a boil. Combine the ingredients marked with ☆ in a separate bowl.

  3. 3

After the al dente pasta is drained in a sieve, toss it into Step 2. Mix the sauce into the pasta quickly on high heat.

  4. 4

Pour the ☆ mixture into the pan from Step 3 and stop the heat. Give everything a quick toss. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and black pepper and it's done.

  5. 5

I made a huge batch of this tomato sauceand use it on anything and everything.
