Linguine with Clams and Creamy Potato Sauce

First, rinse the clams. Before cooking, I usually let them soak in fresh water for a few hours.

In a skillet, add the olive oil, finely chopped garlic, and the chili pepper.

Sauté the garlic, then add the clams.

After a short while, deglaze with white wine. Once the clams open, add some black pepper, parsley, and salt.

Meanwhile, in another skillet, add a little olive oil, chopped onion, and diced potatoes.

Once the potatoes are cooked, blend them to make a creamy sauce.

Cook the linguine, then add them to the skillet with the clams. Add the potato cream and a ladle of pasta water.

Mix everything together and serve.
