I made these with just cocoa powder, but I wanted more impact so I added black cocoa as well.

Generally, you check to see if things are done by sticking in a toothpick, but the melted chocolate will stick to the toothpick even when they're baked, so check by looking at the dough or the chocolate.
The amount of water needed may different depending on the pancake mix you sue. So adjust the amount of the milk accordingly. Recipe by Bu-nyanm

Steps

Cut the chocolate into 5mm pieces.

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the milk with a whisk.

Pour in the milk and combine well using a rubber spatula. (See Helpful Hints.)

Pour the batter into muffin cups and steam over high-heat for 10 minutes, and they are done.
