Ingredients

  1. 4 tbspbutter
  2. 8-10pav
  3. 3tomatoes (finely chopped)
  4. 1onion (finely chopped)
  5. 1/4 cuppeas
  6. 1/2capsicum (finely chopped)
  7. 1 tbspsalt
  8. 1 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  10. 1 tspdry fenugreek (kasuri methi)
  11. 2 tspCoriander leaves (Finely chopped)
  12. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  13. 1/2 tbsplemon juice
  14. 3-4 dropsred food colour (optional)
  15. As neededWater to adjust consistency

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly, in a large kadhai heat 1 tbsp butter and add vegetables. cook and mash well. Now add 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp pav bhaji masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi and 2 tbsp coriander leaves.

  2. 2

    Heat a tbsp of butter and add ¼ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp pav bhaji masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi. Also 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 onion and ½ lemon juice. saute well.

  3. 3

    Now add 3 drops of red food colour and mix well. Boil and mash for 5 minutes adjusting consistency. Garnish with Coriander leaves.

    Finally, serve pav and bhaji as pav bhaji.
