A delicious and very easy dessert to make.

Prepare your mise en place by measuring out all your ingredients.

Pour the sugar into your baking pan and heat directly over the stove until it turns into caramel. Remove from heat and set aside.

Blend all the flan ingredients in a blender until well combined. Set aside.

To make the chocolate cake, beat the eggs and sugar in a mixer until thick and pale.

Once ready, melt the chocolate with the butter.

Pour the melted chocolate into the beaten eggs and gently fold together.

After the chocolate is fully incorporated, gradually fold in the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt).

Pour the chocolate cake batter into the pan over the caramel.

Carefully pour the flan mixture over the cake batter, as close to the pan as possible.

Cover with aluminum foil and cook in a water bath on the stovetop over low heat for about 30 to 35 minutes.

After the time is up, remove from heat and let cool.

Serve and enjoy.
