Inherited from my grandma. Mom makes it for us once in a while. When we were kids, we thought that it was how flan should taste like, hahaha.

Yogurt Egg Cake Yogurt Egg Cake
I was wondering if I could make my own yogurt egg jelly cake, so I tried making it. The fluffy and juicy texture is the best . The taste is extremely simple lol. When I increased the amount of egg yolk and added in honey, it plumps up nicely, but overall it is better to just leave the ingredients for the yogurt egg jelly as-is . I rewrote the recipe because I learned that it might swell up and then shrivel too much in December 2008, so I added memos in the steps.*12.2008* I received a tip that this will swell up and then shrivel. I bought a hand mixer, and understood the reason when I tried using it. It seems that overwhipping the eggs seems to be the source of the problem. After adding in the skim milk in Step 2, using a hand mixer to whip it even at a low speed will overwhip it and make the meringue hard. For those of you using a hand mixer, please use an egg beater in Step 2 without using the hand mixer and please just lightly mix it. For 12 cm [4.7 in]x15cm paper carton or newspaper (half the size) mold 12 cm in diameter. Recipe by twin-twin cookpad.japan -

My Mother's Tamagoyaki My Mother's Tamagoyaki
I have adjusted the amounts according to my preferences, but I used the same amount from back home (my mom's flavor) to make this.I hadn't yet added my family's basic tamagoyaki recipe to MyRecipes, so I decided to upload it.I use 2x concentrated mentsuyu noodle sauce without watering it down. For those of you worried about the flavor being too strong or too weak, lightly coat a pan with oil and heat it up, drop in just a bit of the egg mixture, and adjust according to your tastes after taste-testing.Add in just a touch of dashi stock granules. Damie Checkered Sushi Cake For Mother's Day Damie Checkered Sushi Cake For Mother's Day
I wanted to make a San Sebastian checkerboard cake with sushi rice. It's difficult to slice or mold sushi rice like a cake, so it took a lot of effort to come up with this method. The most difficult part is slicing the cake.If you press too hard with the knife or go back and forth with it like a saw, the two colors of rice get mixed together and you lose the checkerboard pattern. So put the blade in 4-5 times per slice and cut carefully. Put the knife in the far side and draw it towards you gently. Wipe and moisten the blade between each cut. For 1 15 cm [5.9 in] diameter cake, 5-6 servings. Recipe by Sumireno usagi cookpad.japan -
