Cut the cabbage into quarters and then cut it into bite(1inch) size pieces. Add the salt in it and give it a good mix. Cover it for 2-3 hours and toss it after every 30 minute.

After the cabbage is done separate the water and set aside both the cabbage and water.

Slice the carrots and spring onion and set aside.

For sauce:
In a mix add garlic,ginger and onion and blend it. Add the chilli flake,chilli powder,sugar and a little bit if cabbage water(just 1-2 tbsp). Mix everything together and sauce is ready. - 5
Mix the vegetables and sauce together until perfectly combined.(vigorous mix)

Put it in a jar and press it down tightly. Set it out in room temperature for 1 day and then put it in the fridge.

Eat it with rice, daal chawal or just by it self. Enjoy!!
Ps. You can adjust the spice level to your liking.
