In a mixing bowl put wheat flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Mix all. Now add oil and mix. Next add curd and mix. Bring all ingredients together to make a soft dough. If required add water. Make a soft dough.

Brush some more oil on the dough, tuck in and keep it covered for 10 minutes resting.

After resting, knead the dough. Take a rolling board. Spread out the dough into a thick base roti. Sprinkle kalaunji and press. Take cookie cutter and cut out small kulchas.

Heat tawa. Put kulchas at medium flame. As they are cooked from one side flip and cook the other side.

Brush butter or ghee as you wish nicely.
They are ready to be served hot hot.
You can serve it with chole/ matar/ anda tadka. - 6
We had it with tadka I.e a mixed dal preparation famous in Odisha specially in the dhabas.
