Yogurt Cheesecake with Pancake Mix in a Rice Cooker

I love cheesecake, but cream cheese is expensive, so I made it with grated cheese and yogurt.

I received some questions about yogurt and cheese.

I use unsweetened plain yogurt.
2 tablespoons of grated cheese is just a suggested amount, so if you like a rich flavour, increase the amount. Recipe by Rachis.

  1. 150 gramsPancake mix
  2. 2Eggs
  3. 400 gramsPlain yogurt
  4. 5 tbspSugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mix the eggs and sugar together.

  2. 2

    Add the yogurt.

  3. 3

    Mix well.

  4. 4

Add the grated cheese and pancake mix.

  5. 5

Mix well so that the mixture is not lumpy.

  6. 6

Prepare a rice cooker. It's better to coat with oil using a paper towel.

  7. 7

Pour the batter into the rice cooker bowl.

  8. 8

Tap it gently to remove bubbles.

  9. 9

Set it in the rice cooker, and turn on the switch using the normal cooking setting.

  10. 10

When it has finished cooking, poke with a skewer and see if it comes out clean.

  11. 11

If the batter is not cooked completely, cook again.

  12. 12

When it has finished cooking, switch it off. Open the lid, and leave it for about 20 minutes. It will shrink a little bit.

  13. 13

Take it out from the rice cooker bowl, and cut into pieces.

You're ingredient list doesn't say what kind of cheese to use. Cream cheese I assume? There's thousands of different cheeses and most of them can be grated
