Preheat oven to 375. Cream shortening and sugars until light and fluffy.

Add eggs and extract, combine.

Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl; mix slowly into wet ingredients until combined.

Add 1/2 cup M&Ms to dough.

Use small ice cream scoop to form dough balls; press 2-3 M&Ms on top of each.

Bake for 9-11 minutes (we like ours chewy!)
