I thought I wanted to try making an unusual cake!

It's a good idea to line the mold with plastic wrap so that the sushi rice doesn't stick to it. Recipe by Saoposu

Ingredients

  1. 360 mlWhite rice
  2. 8 sliceSmoked salmon
  3. 4Prawns
  4. 1 bunchSpinach
  5. 1/2Carrot
  6. 2Snow peas
  7. 2Egg
  8. 1 tbspKatakuriko
  9. 2 tbspWater
  10. 2 tbspSoy sauce
  11. 1Store-bought chirashi sushi pack

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Make the chirashi sushi and thin shredded omelet. If you make the omelet with katakuriko and water, it won't rip as easily.

  2. 2

Parboil the carrots, spinach, and shrimp. Cut the carrots into hearts. Flavor the spinach with soy sauce. Cut the shrimp in half along the back.

  3. 3

Starting from the bottom of the mold, add the denbu -> sushi -> omelet -> sushi -> spinach -> sushi in that order. Turn over onto a serving plate, and decorate with salmon arranged in a rose shape. For the last step, garnish with snow peas and heart-shaped carrots and it's complete!
