Cooking Instructions
- 1
Thinly slice the flank steak into strips.
- 2
Add together the flank steak slices and your cornstarch to a large resealable bag. Then, shake it thoroughly to evenly coat the steak.
- 3
Then, add the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, water, brown sugar, and carrots into the slow cooker. Next, combine it all together. Then, add in the now coated flank steak slices and mix it all together until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
- 4
Cook in the slow cooker for either 4-5 hours on LOW or 2-3 hours on HIGH, you can tell that it is done when the flank steak is cooked through and tender. Serve this meal over rice and sprinkle with green onions.

My husband loves Mongolian beef. I found a recipe a couple years ago that was a knock off of PF Changs Mongolian beef. I didn't care for that recipe so I tweaked it and made it my own and came up with this. Needless to say, he said it was the best Mongolian beef he has ever had, no joke. Must say so myself it was the best I ever had too. Sarah -
