Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1/2or more Apple
  2. 1/2 tspSalt
  3. 1 tspCinnamon
  4. 50 gramsMargarine (butter, or cake margarine)
  5. 50 gramsSugar
  6. 1 mediumEgg
  7. 50 mlMilk
  8. 100 gramsCake flour
  9. 1 tspBaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the apple into wedges, place in a heatproof dish, then microwave for about 2 minutes at 600 W without wrapping in plastic wrap. Stir in the salt and cinnamon.

    Microwave the margarine for 20 seconds at 600 W to soften, stir in the sugar, mix in the egg until smooth, then add the milk and mix again.

    Combine the sifted ☆ ingredients and add to the wet ingredients from Step 2, folding gently with a spatula. Once mixed, add the apples from Step 1, then stir until smooth.

    Fill the muffin tray with muffin cases or cups, pour in the batter evenly, then bake for 23 to 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 180℃.

    This is how they turned out after baking for 23 minutes. It might be better to continue baking them for the full 25 minutes.

    They're really moist and delicious.
