Ingredients

  • Potato stuffing
  • 4large potatoes boiled and mashed
    Aloo Lachha Paratha
  • 1 teaspoonoil
  • 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  • 6-7curry leaves
  • 1large onion sliced
  • 2green or red fresh chillies chopped
  • as per taste Salt
  • Pinchhing
  • Idli
  • as neededIdli batter
    Idli
  • as per need Few drops of oil for greasing idli pan

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, chilles and onions.
    Add salt and let the cook till onions are translucent.
    Add turmeric smashed potatoes and mix together well. once the mixture is cooled down, make small pedha like balls and keep aside.

    Heat idli steamer with water.
    Grease the idli plates and pour idli batter just half way. Approximately 1 tablespoon.
    Now place the aloo mixture balls and pour idli batter on top again.
    Now steam the idlis as usual for 15 minutes.
    Remove them from the idli plates once they cool down a little.
