Steps
- 1
In a grinding jar add tahini and lemon juice and process it for 1 minute. Scrape the bottom and sides and again process for 30 seconds more. Can process more 30 seconds to make tahini creamy which initially make hummus also smooth and creamy.
- 2
Add garlic, 2 tbsp olive oil, cumin powder and salt to whipped tahini and process for more 30-40seconds or till everything blend it well. Scrape the sides and bottom in between.
- 3
Now add chickpeas and process untill it becomes smooth. Don't forget to scrape the sides and bottom. Add 2-4 tbsp water and process again to get perfect texture and consistency.
- 4
Our hummus is ready, tranfer it in bowl. Drizzle remaining olive oil and sprinkle paprika. We can store it in refrigerator for week.
- 5
Relish as you like. Here I served it with lavash, toast and soup sticks along with salsa and spinach hummus.
