Masala Rava Idli

Sharing a simple, fast fast and easy peasy breakfast which is tasty and loved by all.
This can be a good brunch also
Its none other than MASALA Rava IDLI
Rava / Sooji Idlis served with spiced curd as dip.
They are soft and fluffy☺️.
Usually masala rava idlis is served with coconut or tomato onion chutney but I served with spiced / tadka curd as dip.
Just add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli, Chana dal n Urad dal in heated oil, sauté them and add in plain curd, I like in this way when you aur in hurry.

In. Mixing bowl, add rava, add curd, salt as required, 1/4 cup water and mix all well. Let it rest for 5 - 7 minutes.

In a pan, add oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing, let it splutter, then add all chopped veggies and stir fry for few minutes till rawness of veggies goes.

Now add this veggies to the rava mixture and mix well

Now prepare for steaming, add 2-3 cups water in steaming vessel, grease idli moulds.

Check for the consistency of mixture, we need idli batter consistency. If required add little more water, now add fruit salt, mix gently, batter will turn frothy.

Now fill each mould and put to steam under medium flame for 10 minutes. De mould and idlis are ready to serve.

Serve with spiced curd
