Ingredients

Stew Dry Beans 3 hours, then stew chili 2 hours
5 people
  1. Halfcup dry white beans
  2. Halfcup dry red beans
  3. 4 cupsvegetable broth, or
    California Farm No Salt Vegetable Broth
  4. 4 cupsbeef broth from cubes
  5. fresh lime
  6. 4 Tbscured pork bacon, or
  7. 4 Tbscashew blue cheese
    California Farm Cashew Milk, Cheese, and Blue Cheese
  8. poundgrasfed lean ground beef, or
  9. Poundbeef seitan
    400. California Farm Seitan Mock Beef in Rendang Sauce
  10. Medium yellow onion, diced
  11. green sweet pepper, diced
  12. jalapeno pepper, deseeded and diced
  13. Pintchopped crushed fresh tomatoes
  14. Tbsolive oil
  15. 3 clovesgarlic, peeled and crushed
  16. Tbshot spanish or hungarian paprika powder
  17. Tbscocoa powder
  18. Tbscoriander
  19. tspcumin
  20. Cupgrated aged tillamook white cheddar cheese, or
  21. cupgrated cashed cheese
    California Farm Cashew Milk, Cheese, and Blue Cheese

  23. Beef or mock beef $4, Tomatoes $2, onion $.50, green pepper $.50, broth $1, beans $.50, bacon $.10, cheese $.80, spices $.50, $2.00 per dinner

Steps

Stew Dry Beans 3 hours, then stew chili 2 hours
  1. 1

    Cook half a cup of dry white beans: 2 cups beef broth or vegetable broth, piece of bacon or cashew blue cheese, half a lime, boil, simmer covered two hours, add water regularly.
    Cook half cup of red beans, same way, but three hours instead of two.

    When beans are done, In dutch oven, Fry spices in olive oil till fragrant. Add onions, pepper, garlic, beef or mock beef, stir fry till beef is browned on all sides. Add tomato sauce, add beans in broth, stir thoroughly, simmer two hours.

    Add grated cheese on top, Taste if you want to add salt, put in individual containers to freeze. Enjoy.
