Laban in the Middle East countries and North Africa is referred to a beverage made of fermented milk, that is generally made by letting milk ferment for 24 hours and then butter is churned out of it, so the leftover liquid after butter is taken out is called Laban or simply in English Buttermilk and in Hindi Chaas.
In Middle East it's produced commercially in ready to drink bottle ( unflavoured/ plain).
People just pour and drink it for breakfast, Lunch or dinner.
To the plain Laban, I have added some simple spices and ingredients and turned it into Masala Laban.
It rich in Probiotic and has cooling effect on the stomach and body and rich in Calcium and other Vitamins and Minerals.

Pour Laban in the mixer grinder blender jar and blend everything in it for about 5 minutes. Pour it in individual glasses and sprinkle a pinch of Grounded/ Powdered Roasted Cummin seeds and mint leaves. Serve chilled.

For Grounded/ Powdered Roasted Cummin seeds
Pan Roast the Jeera/ Cummin seeds till it changes color and you get a nice aroma, be careful it burns quickly, so keep the flame low. Cool it and grind it in the mixer grinder or in mortar pestle or grinding stone.
