Ingredients

8 -10 servings
  1. 500 gmnylon (thin) poha
  2. 200 gmmurmura
  3. 1/2 cup peanuts
  4. 1/2 cup green chilli pieces
  5. as requiredcurry leaves
  6. 1/2 cup oil
  7. 3 tspturmeric
  8. 2 tsppowder sugar
  9. as per tasteSalt
  10. as requiredSome cashew nuts (optional)
  11. 1/4 cupdry coconut slice
  12. 1 tspasafoitida
  13. 1 tspmustard seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Roast nylon poha on medium flame till it becomes crisp. Then spread poha on paper to become cool

    Roast murmura and spread on paper.

    In big vessel add oil, the add peanuts. Fry peanuts till become red. Then take out peanuts & put them in rosted poha mumra mixture. You can add daliya in chivda.

    Then in same oil add dry coconut slice. and take out from it when become crisp & brown.then fry curry leaves in same oil & take out.spread dry coconut slice and curry leaves on roasted poha. Now add mustard seeds, asafoitida and green chillies. Fry it in oil for 1 min. Then turn off the flame and add nylon poha mixture in the tampering.

    Mix all ingediants well. Add sugar, salt. Then turn on the flame and stir chivda for 5 min. We have already roasted poha so no need to stir for long time

    Nylon poha chivda is ready to serve in diwali with shakkarpala, laddu, chakli, ghugra & all other things.
