Cooking Instructions
- 1
Bring some water to a boil, then turn the heat to low. Spread out each of the pork slices as you add them to the pot. When they're just faintly pink, transfer into cold water. Drain with a colander or sieve.
- 2
Julienne the onion along the grain. Soak in water for 1 minute. Drain, and arrange onto a serving dish. (If you're using sweet onions, just soak for 10 seconds.)
- 3
Place the pork on top of the onions. Serve with creamy sesame sauce that's combined and mixed well together. Also top with small rounds of green onion or scallion.
- 4
You can use this creamy sesame saucefor other recipes as well.

Shabu Shabu Pork and Ramen Noodle Salad Shabu Shabu Pork and Ramen Noodle Salad
Ramen salad is available at many izakaya (Japanese gastropubs). I wanted to make it at home too! So I tried it at many restaurants, and experimented a lot to create an easy, one-plate recipe. My favorite combination is shabu shabu pork, sliced onion, blanched bean sprouts and sesame dressing. For a seafood version, frozen seafood mix is fine. You can use any kinds of vegetables you use in a salad. ♪ I used the vegetables we use the most in our house, and the dressing we use the most too, sesame dressing. I recommend using thick crinkly noodles. The dressing coats well and has a nice texture. Boil the noodles at the very end and serve freshly cooked! Recipe by @SAKURA cookpad.japan -

Spicy Sesame Shabu Shabu Pork and Okra Spicy Sesame Shabu Shabu Pork and Okra
I love refreshing and delicious shabu shabu pork! I also really love sticky boiled okra, so I combined the two.The key is to combine the boiled ingredients with the seasonings while still warm. When removing the pork, be sure not to drain too much of the water from it when removing it from the pan. You can use shabu shabu pork or pork belly slices. When you cut the okra, it will become slimy, so watch out. Recipe by Kyarameri-na cookpad.japan
