I came up with an ideal main bento dish using chicken.

It's marinated in oil, so there is no need to coat the pan with oil before cooking.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 250 gramsChicken thigh
  2. 2 tbspOlive oil
  3. 1/2 tspSea salt
  4. 8shakes ☆ Black pepper
  5. 1/2 tbsp☆ Dried basil leaves
  6. 6shakes ☆ Fresh parsley
  7. 1 dash☆ Garlic powder (or grated garlic)
  8. 1 dashLemon juice (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Put the ingredients marked ☆ into a plastic bag and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add the chicken to the bag and rub from the outside. Close the bag and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

    Cook in a heated frying pan until browned to finish. You don't have to coat the frying pan with oil.

    Optionally top off with a little lemon juice.

    Here it is in a bento box.
