Thai-style Lunch Box

Green papaya salad is really a popular foot cart item in Thailand. It's sweet, spicy, sour and a little salty. The peanuts make it aromatic. It's a fun salad that lets you enjoy various tastes and textures in one dish. This was my favorite dish when I lived in Thailand and I used to eat it a lot, so I added it to a bento.
You can substitute light brown sugar or raw cane sugar for palm sugar.
It's important not to mix the green papaya in the salad too much, or it will lose its texture. Add chili pepper to taste for a zing. Recipe by Sarade-n
