I made this to honour another cookpad found friendship, Swati Bharadwaj all the way in India. I made use of spices that originated from India.
Steps

Sieve flour into a bowl and add all dry ingredients. Mix to combine

Make a hole in the middle, add enough water to form a batter. Mix thoroughly to form a lump free batter. Cover and allow to rise for 20 minutes

Heat oil. Scoop batter into balls and drop into the hot oil. Fry on medium flame.

Flip over the side and allow to fry.
- 5
Drain and serve. I took mine with Indian chai
