My mum taught us all how to cook the perfect beans porridge. You can’t go wrong with this. And my number 1 secret to a soft and sweet beans porridge is the beans itself. I will share the beans type with you.
Steps
- 1
Pick your beans and wash
- 2
Add to a pot of boiling water then add only chopped onions and cover.
- 3
When it starts getting soft, blend scotch bonnet with onions and add to the beans.
- 4
Add seasoning cubes and salt. Then add palm oil and cover to continue to cook
- 5
Check to adjust taste. You can add crayfish or dried fish. It’s totally optional though. Stir with a spatula and make sure you have a very soft beans before turning off the heat
- 6
Serve with fried plantains. Enjoy! 😋😋
