  7. 2Green Chillies
  8. 1/4 cupOnions finely chopped
  9. 1/4 cupTomatoes finely chopped
  10. 1 cupMixed Vegetables (Carrots, Beans, Potato)
  11. 3/4 cupLittle Millet / Samai / Samak rice / Samulu
  12. 3 tbspMoong Dal
  13. 2 tbspChana Dal
  14. 2 tbspMasoor Dal
  15. 1 tbspToor Dal
  16. 1 tbspQuinoa
  17. 2.5 cupsWater
  18. 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  19. 3/4 tspRed Chilli Powder
  20. as per tasteSalt

    Measure and take the little millet, dals in a bowl and rinse well until you get clear water.
    Let it soak for at least 15 mins.

  2. 2

    Prepare the vegetables and keep it aside

  3. 3

    In a pressure cooker, heat cooking oil and ghee. Temper all the whole spices.

  4. 4

    Saute well. Now, add the onions, green chilies, saute till done.
    Now, add the tomatoes and the vegetables.

  5. 5

    Add salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder, continue cooking on low flame till the vegetables are slightly done.

  6. 6

    Drain the water and add the millet and dal to the cooker, combine everything well.

  7. 7

    Add water and cover with lid. Pressure cook for at least 3 whistles, let the pressure fall down.

  8. 8

    Once done, remove the lid, add coriander leaves and mix well.

  9. 9

    Serve with papad, pickle or curds.
