Ingredients

  • 3 lbsbeef cubed
  • 4 piecesgarlic cloves crushed and chopped
  • 1 pieceonion finely chopped
  • 3 cupsbeef broth
  • 1 piecered bell pepper sliced (optional)
  • 1 piecegreen bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cupstomato sauce
  • 1/2 cupliver spread processed using blender
  • 1 teaspoonchili flakes
  • 5 piecesdried bay leaves
  • 500 gpotatoes sliced
  • 300 gcarrots sliced
  • 50 gcooking oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

    Heat the cooking oil in the cooking pot or pressure cooker.

  2. 2

    Sauté the onion and garlic.

  3. 3

    Add the beef. Cook for 5 minutes or until the color turns light brown.

  4. 4

    Add the dried bay leaves and crushed pepper. Stir.

  5. 5

    Add the liver spread. Stir.

  6. 6

    Pour-in the tomato sauce and beef broth.

  7. 7

    Cook the beef until it becomes tender (about 30 mins if using a pressure cooker, or 1 to 2 hours if using an ordinary pot).

  8. 8

    Add potato and carrots. Cook for 10 to 15minutes

  9. 9

    Put bell peppers in the cooking pot. Stir and continue to cook for 5 minutes more.

  10. 10

    Add salt and pepper to taste

  11. 11

    Sprinkle grated choose(optional)

  12. 12

    Serve and Enjoy!
